Sep. 26 - Milos 🇬🇷

It was a full day of travel today. We left Schwäbisch Hall at 06:00 this morning on a 90-minute drive to Stuttgart to catch our flight to Thessaloniki, Greece where we connected to Athens then onward to Milos. We finally arrived on an old Sky Express ATR 42-500 at about 18:30 and got to our hotel just in time to watch the sunset from our patio. We are staying for the next 10 days at the Hotel Milos Resort, in a beautiful new villa with a private pool overlooking the Caldera (the port of Milos and the beautiful harbour created when one of the walls of the volcano collapsed and the crater filled with sea water). I think we’re going to love this place. It’s low season, most of the tourists have left and the hotels, restaurants and tavernas on the beach are starting to close. It’s almost like having an island to ourselves!!
