Today we met our private guide & driver at the villa for an all-day tour of the region. Sandy, a native from Aix-en-Provence, filled us with interesting, fun facts about the region, its culture, and its people. Gassin is a small community perched high up on a rock less than 4 Km from the sea. We stopped for a beautiful lunch of fresh fish, veggies & washed it down with a nice light rosé. Her tour included a wine-tasting stop at Bertrand & Belieu, a 200+ year old winery famous for its rosés.

Afterwards we drove on to Ramatuelle, a town of 2100 dating back to medieval times. Once back at the villa, the boules tournament began with copious amounts of red liquids and a beautiful charcuterie board. Randy & I emerged victorious!
