Oct. 6 - Santorini 🇬🇷

As the first light of the morning shone through the shutters that had only been partially closed last night, I slipped out of bed and put on the coffee. Today is Debb’s 33rd ”Push Day,” and our twins 33rd Birthdays. Coffee in bed to celebrate is on the menu. Wow, where has time gone? With the shutters now wide open we gaze across the vineyards to the blue Aegean Sea and revel in the splendour of another glorious day. A magnificent breakfast banquet awaits complete with the mandatory Sunday mimosas! Who wouldn’t be thrilled and thankful at the same time to be here in Santorini in the waning days of summer. An afternoon by the pool, some wine tasting at Gavalas Winery, a family winery engaged in the vinification of the varieties grown in Santorini for 3 centuries, then an invitation by the Hotel Manager to a cocktail party, followed by a an amazing dinner in the town square. Another perfect day....and only one more to go!
