After 2 days of board meetings we launched our short tour of Northern India. India is not a country but a continent and travelling through it is an experience like no other. Overwhelming in its chaos at first, it gradually unfolds unique delights. It’s unexpected beauty filters through the chaos. New Delhi is a city of 18 million and a hustling, bustling metropolis with an “old world” walled city dating back to the 1600s and the mughals. It is a city of contrasts and an assault on the senses but with a vibrant beat. We walked the old city, rode in a rickshaw, viewed the largest Mosque in India (room for 25,000 faithful!) shopped for spices and teas then took a break for a fabulous Indian lunch at one of the supposed top 5 restaurants in the country. A great day!
