Today is our last full day on Mallorca, so we’ve decided to do a winery tour of some of the best vineyards on the island. The wine region is a short 30 minute drive from our hotel in the towns of Binissalem and Santa Maria del Camí. We stopped at two highly recommended spots, Jose Ferrer in Binissalem was first. Here we sampled some sumptuous reds and snacked on local cheeses between tastings. The second stop was Macia Batle, in Santa Maria del Camí where we enjoyed their rosados, vi de las terra Mallorca. Tomorrow we head to Germany so we need to stock up a few bottles to travel along with us! A blessing to the Mallorcans, but not so much for the tourists, was a day with rain showers topped off with a mighty lightening storm in the evening. They haven’t had rain in a couple of months, so of course the Saretsky’s brought it! De nada!

The doctor told Debb, “no more than one bottle a day” and she finally found one that will work!
