July 31 — Sainte Cécile Les Vignes & Tulette 🇫🇷

We’re getting close to the end of our first 2 months in Europe...only 2 more full days. So today we decided to have a low-key day. Sleep in, leisurely morning sipping coffee, a walk to the village (4800 steps), then a short drive in the convertible to a neighbouring village, Tulette. Over lunch we enjoy a bottle of wine with our good friends from Vancouver, Tim & Vicky while we reminisce about our two weeks together and all the fun things we’ve done. We hadn’t seen each other in 3 years but it could just as easily have been 3 weeks since it seems like almost no time has passed and our reunion in France has been so enjoyable. After lunch we spent the late afternoon by the pool soaking up the Provençal sunshine while enjoying the constant strains of the cicadas. It’s good to have days like this. We are so blessed!
