August 23 - Corkscrew event at Tumble Creek 🇺🇸

We’re settling nicely into our new community, Tumble Creek. They have a lot of events on the social calendar. Tonight is the Corkscrew event hosted at the home of Toscana Members George and Norma-Jean Reece. George is my winter hiking buddy in Toscana and we were part of the group that did the Cactus to Clouds hike just as the season ended last April. It’s great that he’s in the neighbourhood here so we can keep hiking all summer too! The wine was provided by Spottswoode, a family wine estate in St. Helena, CA (Napa Valley), and the food was catered by Chef Chad from the Hillhouse. One of the cabernets we were drinking was rated 100 points by Robert Parker! It was a beautiful evening with the most gorgeous sunset.
