August 19 & 20 - Tumble Creek 🇺🇸

Wine, wildlife and golf pretty much sums up the past couple of days. We’ve had wild turkeys cross in front of us on the course, elk in the backyard, and plenty of deer wander by as we enjoy the private course at Tumble Creek or the fire pit in the backyard. This place is so quiet and relaxing but lots to do if you want that too! The new Pickleball courts are in and ready for play, tennis courts, swimming pool, biking and hiking trails beckon (10 miles of paved trails in Tumble Creek and more in Suncadia), and a ton of organized social and recreational events. We’re attending the BBQ & Cocktails event at the Golf House Fire Pit tomorrow, then the Corkscrews wine & appetizer event on Friday and the Chicago Rewired outdoor concert in the Amphitheatre on Saturday. Never short of things to do.....and did I mention wine? We are only steps from the Swiftwater Cellars and wine by the fire pit is pretty relaxing too.
We are spending 3 weeks in Tumble Creek, meeting with our architect & builder and finalizing plans before the construction starts. We will spend summers here & winters in PSP and sell our YYC home.
Glad you loved the Douro & Porto as much as we did.
Gregg, you are living the dream at Tumble Creek! Did you mention that you need more wine? We've got lots here in the Okanagan!! By the way, can see why you loved the Douro River Cruise - we truly enjoyed it, too! Especially, the 3 days we spent in Porto, prior to cruise begin!
