Today is the Saretsky family summer BBQ at Mark’s house in Bellevue, which promises to be a mix of fun & games, drinks, food and a cacophony of conversations all taking place at the same time! Jenni’s husband, Chris, is in charge of the pig roasting box, called La Caja, in which he’ll cook pork ribs and spatchcock chickens. On the BBQ we have fresh corn on the cob, picked today, and of course there is a great coleslaw salad and Dara’s home-baked beans and Hawaiian buns as accompaniments. Yum. Mix in some corn hole, a match of bocce, and a round of singing “Happy Birthday” to our birthday-boy, Bobby, and you’ve got the makings of a great party.
